Opened in 2006 and CDMT-recognised, Sarah-Louise Ashworth School of Dance teaches from Kirkbymoorside and Pickering venues. The syllabus covers RAD and IDTA ballet, modern, tap, jazz, commercial jazz, contemporary, acro, theatre craft and Silver Swans for pupils from 18 months to adult.
