For assessors

Become a BDSA assessor

Assessors are the people who make the Register trustworthy. The work is careful and responsible: read the evidence, check it against the Safe Dance Standard, and record a fair decision.

We look for experience in dance teaching, safeguarding, education, or a related field, and for people who can work to a defined standard and write clear reasons.

Assessors are trained and supported. You do not assess a school you are connected to. No assessor has a financial interest in the outcome.
